Located in West Virginia, Mt. Storm sits at an altitude of 3244 feet and has a maximum depth of 128 feet.  A power plant, located on the shore of the lake, heats the water year round making this lake very comfortable for diving even in the winter.  Due to it's altitude, special training is required to safely dive this unique lake.

Directions to Mount Storm:

 From Baltimore area, take I-70 West 87 miles
Take I-68 West 41 miles
Take US 220 South 21 miles, then bear right to . . .
Take SR 972 SouthWest 2 miles, then bear right to . . .
Take US 50 SouthWest 15 miles to Mount Storm, WV

To continue on to the VEPCO Lake, turn left to . . .
Take SR 42 South 4 miles, then turn right at the light to . . .
Take SR 93 West.  Turn left into the parking area just before crossing the dam.
