Our trip begins at Captain Don's Scuba Habitat, one of the oldest and well known resorts on Bonaire, Capt. Don's is credited with establishing most of the dive sites around Bonaire. Their comfortable deluxe villa's offer you the view of the shore where you can dive from any time of the day. If you want to dive elsewhere, take a ride around the island and pick another spot; just look for the yellow signs. There are a multitude of dive sites around the island including the "Lighthouse", which is at the south tip of the island, a wreck dive called the "Hilma Hooker", the "Small Wall", a mini-wall that houses green moray eels, nurse sharks, and sea horses, and the northern most dive, especially good for the advanced diver, known as "Boca Bartol". When you're not diving but still feel like having a little fun, make your way into town to eat and shop. Villa: 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with private bathrooms. Terrace and patio with ocean view. 2-story buildings, bedrooms upstairs and living room and kitchenette downstairs. Sleeps 4 to 6 per unit.
Unlimited shore diving means just that. Tanks are available 24 hours a day. Equipment storage area provided by the docks. Bring your own padlock. Two wrecks, the "La Machaca" and the "Hesper" are on the reef out front, one at 35-45' and the other at 130'. You can rent a car and drive to many of the dive sites and enter from the shore. Sites on Klein Bonaire are only reachable by boat.
Boat Dives: Boat sign-up boards are posted by the restaurant at breakfast and by the dive center at lunch. Morning boat trip leaves just after breakfast, afternoon boat trip leaves just after lunch.
